The film will be shown on Wednesday the 29th of June at 4:30 p.m. and then again on the 30th of June at 8 p.m.

Her film “Re-inventing the Taliban” is being given the “Outstanding Documentary” award for 2005.

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is a finalist for the Livingston Award this year. Past winners have included Thomas Friedman, Steve Coll, Christiane Amanpour and David Remnick.

The Livingstons, the nation’s largest all-media, general reporting prizes, award three $10,000 prizes for Local, National, and International Reporting to journalists under the age of 35. The winners will be announced on June 14, 2005.
